The Women’s Periodicals: Social and Political Issues  database has full-text access from 1786–1933 to digitized editions of numerous women’s periodicals from the United States, Great Britain, Germany, France, and Iceland, produced by both male and female writers, editors, and publishers for the ever-growing market of women readers. Extensive coverage of the changing roles of women in society from the late 18th century to the early 20th, including arguments for and against women’s suffrage.
